SmithGroupJRR promoted Adam Denmark to principal in the architectural firm’s Phoenix office. Design architect Denmark specializes in facilities for forensic science, medical examiners, mass casualty, wet labs and biosafety level 3 units. He is experienced in all phases of laboratory design and construction, with specific expertise in medicolegal autopsy facilities. Since joining SmithGroupJJR in 2002, he has become a frequent speaker at major client industry conferences, including those sponsored by the National Association of Medical Examiners, the Center for Disease Control, Laboratory Design and Tradeline Research Buildings. Denmark is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a bachelor of architecture degree.

Cardno WRG has tapped Duane Hunn as director of operations for the firm's Scottsdale, Ariz., office. Hunn has more than 25 years of civil engineering and project management experience throughout Arizona, specializing in land development and large infrastructure projects. Filling a role that had been left vacant since 2009, Hunn's hiring reflects Cardno WRG's renewed interest in the Phoenix land development market.

Brendan Egan has rejoined Dermody Properties as regional director of development for the industrial real estate development firm's Reno, Nev., office. The 27-year real estate veteran had left the firm 12 years ago to manage his own development enterprises in the Sacramento, Calif., and Reno areas. Egan will be responsible for developing build-to-suit projects, executing land sales and managing business development. During his previous tenure at Dermody, Egan developed retail shopping centers, office buildings and industrial complexes in the Reno/Sparks area. In his final two years at Dermody, he was placed in charge of the development, marketing and leasing of the company’s projects in Indiana and Pennsylvania.
