Newly appointed executive director Beck says that "New Mexicans expect the state's investment in its transportation infrastructure to be protected by securing the revenues necessary to provide and maintain a safe, modern and efficient transportation network that serves the social and economic interests of New Mexico." He adds that the construction industry "will continue to work closely with state and local leaders to develop alternative funding sources to ensure a healthy, sustainable future for our state's transportation system."
