Conservation Services Group announced Vanessa A. Richter as Arizona program director. In this new position, Richter is responsible for the day-to-day account management, operations and logistics of CSG's existing energy efficiency programs, as well as new business development.

Before joining CSG, Richter was the director of land development at NRG Development LLC, in Fort Myers, Florida. There, she oversaw land acquisition, zoning, environmental and construction entitlements, land planning, project evaluation and construction. Prior to her position at NRG, Richter served as land development manager at TOUSA Homes Inc., also in Fort Myers. In this position, she led negotiations and managed development projects, entitlements and construction. Earlier in her career, Richter served as a project manager and civil engineer at VanasseDaylor, LLC, in Fort Myers, Entranco Engineers and Parsons, Brinckeroff, Douglas and Quade in Tucson, Arizona.

Richter is a licensed professional engineer in Arizona and Florida. She is a member of the US Green Building Council. Richter is also a certified home energy rater through RESNET. Richter holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from University of Arizona.


United Construction president and chief executive officer Craig Willcut has been named a national director by the Associated General Contractors of America.

As the president and CEO of United, Willcut is responsible for all activities of the company. He directs day-to-day operations and has the overall responsibility for the performance of each project. He has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry. In addition to his role with United, he has been involved in the Building & Planning Enterprise Committee for the City of Reno, Academy for Career Education, Associated Builders and Contractors, and the Washoe County Sheriff's Contractors Auxiliary.


McCarthy Building Companies Inc. promoted Ray Sedey to vice president of operations and Paul Dudzinski to project director for the firm's Nevada Division.

As vice president of operations, Sedey will be responsible for integrating McCarthy's estimating, scheduling, accounting, safety, quality control, management information systems and contract departments into a project as they become necessary. Since starting with McCarthy in 2000, Sedey has excelled in a variety of roles including project superintendent, project manager and project director. Prior to joining McCarthy's Nevada Division, Sedey was a leader in its regional Southwest office.

As project director, Dudzinski will provide the vision and leadership necessary to manage large scale projects, maintain quality design, and effectively monitor construction schedules and budgets.


The Phoenix office Leo A. Daly has appointed Erik Hanson, Assoc. AIA, as director of healthcare. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the business efforts and managing progress for various healthcare projects, as well as supervising the project staff. Hanson possesses 19 years of experience designing and managing projects in healthcare, corporate and civic design.

Hanson obtained a bachelor of architecture from Boston Architectural Center, and studied visual and environmental arts at Minneapolis College of Art & Design. He is a faculty member and thesis advisor at Boston Architectural Center, an Associate Member of the American Institute of Architects, and belongs to the Boston Society of Architects.

Prior to joining Leo A Daly, Hanson served as senior design architect and project manager for HDR Architecture in Phoenix. He is a founding principal of oceanUS, a progressive, multi-disciplinary design firm providing architectural, interior and product design services. He is also co-director of oceanD, a research-based design network in Boston, New York and London.
