CORE Construction Nevada president, Gary Siroky, will serve as president of the Las Vegas chapter of Associated General Contractors.

Previously, Siroky served as first executive vice president of AGC Las Vegas. He has donated much of his time and energy to the organization, which recognized his efforts and honored him as Contractor of the Year during its annual SIR Awards in 2006.
Throughout his career in the construction industry, which spans more than 19 years, Siroky has made significant contributions to the growth of the Las Vegas Valley. As Southern Nevada’s construction industry changes, Siroky plans to maintain an active role in the development of safe and environmentally sound solutions for the community.

NTD Architecture has hired Douglas A. Pahls as senior project manager at the firm’s Phoenix office. A 16-year veteran of the architectural industry, Pahls serves the firm’s healthcare clients and is responsible for client communication as well as tracking project schedules, budgets and staff resources.

Pahls earned his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Colorado’s College of Environmental Design in 1989. In 1991 he graduated with honors from Arizona State University with a master of architecture degree and a minor in business/real estate.

NTD Architecture has also promoted Phillip T. Soule, III and Steven Stokes to principal. Both joined the firm’s healthcare practice in the spring of 2006.
Soule serves as the Healthcare Practice Group leader at NTD and has over 21 years of industry experience. In his career, he has managed in excess of $1 billion worth of construction projects. Soule is a board certified healthcare architect and holds longstanding memberships in the AIA, ACHA, and ASHE.

Stokes is a nationally recognized healthcare designer with 18 years of industry experience. As senior healthcare designer for NTD, he currently serves as design principal on the $200 million hospital expansion at University of Arizona’s University Medical Center in Tucson.

Jason Lermuseaux has been promoted to estimating manager for JB Henderson Construction. He is an experienced journeyman, foreman, superintendent and estimator and has been with JBHCC for seven years. As estimating manager he is responsible for the development, coordination and submission of all JBHCC estimates to support operations in New Mexico, Colorado and Utah.

JMA has appointed Dan Vowles as project manager. Cherie Guzman has been appointed as strategic development director and Ria Bornilla as strategic development representative.

Kenneth W. Caswell has joined Gannett Fleming. Based in the firm’s Phoenix office, Caswell serves as managing architect for the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport automated train project.

With more than 30 years of experience in project management and construction administration, Caswell has completed large-scale, multi-faceted projects for federal, state, and municipal governments, corporate entities and transit agencies. Caswell holds a bachelor of architecture with honors from The University of Texas at Austin.

Allen +Philp Architects / Interiors appointed Elizabeth Damore as director of interior.
Damore is a veteran in the Phoenix design community with more than 15 years of experience. She is an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State University, and former coordinator of ASU’s foundation program in interior design. For Allen + Philp, she will set design direction for interiors, manage five interior designers currently on staff and ensure close collaboration with the architectural team throughout the entire design process.

WRG Design has made executive level changes following the June merger with Australian-based firm Cardno. Jeff Curran, former vice president of Phoenix operations has relocated to WRG headquarters to assume the role of corporate group services manager.

WRG has promoted Steve Hader to vice president of Phoenix operations. Hader has served as a senior project manager in WRG’s Phoenix office for the last year. He has been integral to the success the Phoenix civil engineering team. With close to 20 years of experience designing and managing complex projects, his strong association with local contacts and past experience as part owner of another national high profile firm has secured multiple large-scale projects for WRG.

Walter P Moore has promoted two employees in the firm’s Las Vegas office. Jason Bray has been named senior associate and Lora Hendrickson has been named associate of the firm.

Corgan Associates Inc. has named Robert Erickson associate of the firm. Erickson heads up Corgan’s education team in the Phoenix office. He has been with Corgan for 10 years and has over 21 years of design and management experience in education, corporate and aviation market sectors. Erickson is a licensed architect in Arizona and Texas and is a member of the AIA. Erickson graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, with a bachelor of business administration and a master of architecture.

Perini Building Company hired Nick Davis as director of business development for Arizona. Davis’ responsibilities include overseeing company expansion in Arizona. Davis will be involved with new business acquisition, strategic planning, research and marketing.

Davis has worked in business development and marketing for over a decade with a number of major general contractors and architectural firms. Most recently, he served as director of business development for The Beck Group’s Western Division. Davis was responsible for all aspects of business development in the Phoenix office, including marketing and public relations. Other firms where Davis has held a management role include The Hansen Company, Heller Construction and Spencer CM Contractors.Davis has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Indiana State University.

Carl King has been promoted by The Noel Company Inc. to president. King joined the company in 2003. He has a master of science in engineering from Cleveland State University and has over 30 years’ of construction experience.

Dan Albrecht has been promoted to vice president of operations. Albrecht joined the company in 1998 and has over 10 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has a bachelor of science in construction science and management from Kansas State University.

The Downtown Phoenix Partnership has appointed David B. Roderique as president and CEO. He succeeds its former head, Brian Kearney, who resigned his post last October to pursue private development opportunities.

Roderique has nearly thirty years of experience in all aspects of economic development, including job recruitment and retention, retail development, tourism development and urban redevelopment. Since 1985, he has held increasingly responsible economic development positions for the City of Scottsdale, including serving as economic vitality general manager for the past seven years.

Ted Giza has joined The Korte Company as a new business specialist. The Las Vegas market continues to play a significant role in The Korte Company’s success, and substantiates the need for a proactive growth strategy.

Schick Design Group has hired Lynette Willett as principal designer for commercial projects and Jeanne C. Crandall as director of hospitality design. Wyn Sutakul has been promoted to director of the firm’s residential division. The three are expected to be major contributors to Schick Design Group as the company moves more deeply into the hotel/hospitality and commercial markets.

With more than 12 years of experience, Willett’s expertise encompasses all aspects of the creative process from conceptual design through final project completion, with a background primarily in the hospitality industry. Willett will direct creative endeavors for various design teams.

A professional interior designer for more than 30 years, Crandall has worked on custom interior designs in the hospitality industry for both new construction and renovation. With nearly a decade experience in design, Sutakul.
