JMA has formed a new executive management
team. The firm has also updated their logo and brand, citing the need to stay
up-to-date with new design concepts. JMA is elevating into a national integrated
architectural and design firm and is developing a new brand and logo reflective
of the changes within the company. Thomas J. Schoeman,
AIA recently became CEO of JMA. Schoeman appointed Edward
A. Vance, AIA President and Brad Schulz AIA,
COO of the firm. The firm has also formed an Executive Management Team consisting
of CEO Thomas J. Schoeman AIA, President Edward A. Vance AIA, COO Brad Schulz

CFO Carl Von Hake and Director
of Marketing Grace Ferrell. JMA's newest studio
is the Graphic Design Studio, an interdisciplinary design studio, integrating
the expertise of brand strategists, environmental graphic designers, graphic and
interactive designers, and interior designers. hardison/downey
construction, inc. announced the promotion of Michael
J. Mongelli to Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mike
will provide oversight of all company operations, field activity and general management
of the company. Mongelli has been with hardison/downey since 1994 and is a graduate
of the School of Construction at Arizona State University. Parsons
Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. has hired Richard
A. Stockton, PE . as Engineering Manager. Rich has 18 years' experience
in highway, interchange and general roadway design with particular expertise
in the InRoads design application software package. He is also experienced in
intersection analysis, traffic and ITS design. Rich earned a Bachelor of Science
in Civil Engineering from Memphis State University. Brad
Bjerke has joined Road Machinery LLC
as Account Manager in Tucson, AZ. He has more than fifteen years of experience
in the construction and mining equipment business. He holds a B.S. degree in Agricultural
Engineering from North Dakota State University. Jim
Lowry has been hired as General Manager of Sales. Lowry has more than fifteen
years of experience in construction equipment and holds a B.A. in communications
from Arizona State University. Dan Kaercher
has also joined the company as Corporate Sales Trainee. The
Nevada State AFL-CIO recently honored Guy Wells
of Wells Cargo and Rick Ewing of
Las Vegas Paving Corporation during its fifth annual "Friends of Working Families"
dinner. The award recognizes employer's contribution to the state union workforce.
Wells and Ewing currently both serve as board members on the Nevada Contractors
Association. Scott Anderson and Tom Deckerhave
joined Linthicum as project superintendents.
Anderson is a 30-year veteran of the construction industry building custom homes
and high-end town home projects throughout Arizona and Washington. In addition,
he has been involved in commercial construction and land development. Decker has
been in the construction industry for 12 years with extensive experience in steel
framing. Crisci Custom Builders has hired
Dan Ferraro as controller. In his new position,
Ferraro oversees all accounting and financial aspects of the company. Ferraro
has more than 20 years of construction finance experience and received a B.S.
in Accounting from the University of Utah.
