Marnell Corrao Names New Hires and Promotions

Marnell Corrao has named Marshall Cutting as the new president of construction.
He has been with the company since 2003 and was instrumental in the startup and success of the Marnell Consulting business unit. Cutting has over 35 years experience in the construction industry.

Greg Wells will undertake the management of all activities of Austi, LLC.,
the strategic investment and financing arm of the Marnell Companies as the
new president of investments. Wells is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Economics. David Howryla will serve as the executive vice president of Marnell Consulting. In his position he will oversee the master planning process
and large hotel/casino projects across the country. Howryla has a Master of Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. As the president of Marnell Corrao Associates, Perry Eiman
will oversee all Marnell business units including construction, architecture, consulting, properties and investments. Eiman has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Las Vegas, Nevada. Alan Kniffin is the new vice president of construction. With over 30 years experience, he has worked his way through the industry from carpenter to project engineer, superintendent, project manager, operations manager and project executive. Brad L. Kerby will be advising the company in all matters of law, providing legal advice and representation to Marnell Corrao Associates, its business units, and affiliated entities as general counsel and corporate secretary. Kerby is a graduate of the University of Arizona College Law where he received his juris doctor degree.



Beth Stewart
has been appointed human resources and quality management system director for Jack B. Henderson Construction Company. Stewart will be responsible for the management of the entire HR department including employee relations, compensation, and training. Jodi Davis has been promoted to assistant to the president, having previously worked in the accounting department. Davis has had wide-ranging exposure to the construction industry and general office management. She will be responsible for all aspects of administration directly relating to president and CEO, Mark Henderson.



The Leo A Daly
Phoenix office has promoted Beth Steinberg, Jeffrey G. Landtiser, AIA, and David A. De Valeria, AIA to corporate officers as vice president. Amelia B. Clark, AIA, and Richard Sekenski, CPA have been promoted to positions as
senior associate and Viet T. Dam has been promoted to the position of associate.



The PENTA Building Group
has appointed Daniel Thiesmeyer, Eric Anderzhon
and Thomas McCone
as project engineers. They will be responsible for preparing and updating procurement schedules, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with architects and engineers on clarification issues. Thiesmeyer brings 10 years of experience in the industry and received his bachelor's degree in construction management from California State University, Fresno. Anderzhon received his bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Nebraska. McCone received his bachelor's degree in construction management from the South Dakota State University. In addition, Harmony Bilan has been appointed as assistant project engineer, and Brandon Tanaka has been appointed as computer technician. Tanaka graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a bachelor's degree in computer science.



SmithGroup
has hired Luis Huertas, AIA, as project architect. Huertas has nine years of experience with an emphasis on tropical sustainable architecture. He holds a Masters of Architecture from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Temple University in Philadelphia.
