Kirk, Associate AIA, has received Leadership in Energy
& Environmental Design (LEEDTM) Professional Accreditation
from the U.S. Green Building Council, the nation's foremost
coalition of leaders from across the building industry working
to promote buildings that are environmentally responsible, profitable,
and healthy places to live and work.
Kirk is an eight-year member of Lucchesi, Galati Architects,
and holds a Master of Architecture Degree from the University
of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Kirk J. Pangus, RLS, has
been named director of survey services by CMX,
a Phoenix-based full-service civil engineering firm specializing
in master-planned communities, sports facilities and public
infrastructure development. He brings more than 30 years of
land survey and management experience to the CMX team-where
he will oversee the firm's expanding surveying operations.
A native of Flint, Michigan, Pangus has a B.S. degree in Business
from Almeda College and University.
Applied Analysis today announced
the appointment of Jason Salmon
to the position of director of real estate services at the
Nevada-based business advisory firm.
His responsibilities include preparing quarterly real estate
market reports, market analysis, feasibility studies, managing
the firm's commercial real estate database and market research
function, along with creating custom market reports for the
firm's diverse clientele.
Salmon earned a bachelor of arts degree in Media Arts with
a minor in Communication from the University of Arizona in
Tucson.
The Jokake Companies recently
named Roz Lipsey president
of Phoenix-based Jokake Real Estate Services Inc. (JRES),
a real estate development and asset management firm.
Lipsey has been with Jokake since 1998 and has focused on
business planning, relationship building, risk assessment
and investment analysis. She also is responsible for the operation
of a sister company, Superior Marble, which manufactures specifically
sized calcium carbonate products primarily in the building
materials industry.
Lipsey earned her bachelor's degree in economics from Allegheny
College and her MBA from Kent State University.
Kimley-Horn and Associates (KHA)
announces the addition of Bertrand
(Randy) Bauer, a civil engineer in our Development
Services department. Randy joins KHA with over seven years
experience in both field and design work on a multitude of
residential, commercial and industrial
site developments.
Mr. Bauer comes to KHA from Illinois where he provided site
design for numerous land development projects and was awarded
"Local Young Engineer of the Year" by the Illinois
Society of Professional Engineers in 2002. He holds a Bachelor's
degree in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University.
Mark Dimsha has recently been hired as a senior project engineer
at Weston Solutions, Inc.'s Albuquerque office. He has seven
years of experience in a variety of environmental fields,
including water quality analysis, groundwater remediation,
site evaluation, NEPA, demolition and decontamination, and
radiation protection.
W. E. O'Neil Construction Co.
of Arizona recently announced the promotion of
Paul Ryan to Project Manager. Mr. Ryan has been with
O'Neil since 2001 where he began as a Project Engineer on
the America West Airlines Flight Training Facility.
SmithGroup, one of Arizona's largest
architecture, engineering, planning and interior design firms,
recently announced that Craig Randock,
AIA, has been promoted to Senior Vice President with the firm.
Mr. Randock is the Design Principal for one of downtown Phoenix's
premier projects - the IGC/TGen headquarters building.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the
University of Arizona.
Roel Construction has hired Ronald Reynolds as project manager.
Ronald has over 25 years experience in construction. He earned
a degree in Business Administration from De Anza College,
graduating with honors.
Steve Hess P.E., S.E., joins
Schneider and Associates as a
Senior Structural Engineer.
Hess, a University of Arizona graduate, has more than 30 years
experience and is registered to practice in six states. Steven
is past president and now chairman of the scholarship committee
for the Structural Engineers Association of Southern Arizona.
He also has served on the building code committee. |
