Firm Announces Completions

Delmastro + Eells, Inc. announced the completion of the Embassy Suites Hotel Convention Center expansion, located at 3600 Paradise Road, Las Vegas. Delmastro + Eells is the general contractor for the project, which more than doubles the hotel's existing meeting space.

The 7,100-sq.-ft. expansion adds four meeting rooms and support space to the hotel's convention facilities. Existing convention facilities were upgraded with new flooring and wall finishes to match the expansion. Exterior finishes for the expansion were carefully selected to blend with the existing hotel, including granite imported from Brazil. Robert Calizo of Delmastro + Eells was the project manager and superintendent on the project.


Girls Scouts Open New Office

The Girl Scouts of Frontier Council recently opened their new Training and Service Center, located at 2941 Harris Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada. Danoski Clutts Building Group, LLC was the construction manager for the project, which was funded by the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.

The single-story, 19,800-sq.-ft. facility incorporates office and meeting space, training areas, a multipurpose room, commercial kitchen, a retail store and an area for a library and media resources. The facility is built of masonry and steel, exposing structural and mechanical systems when possible, with the intention of educating the building users to construction technology.


Tilt-Up Project Finishes in Las Vegas

Affordable Concepts, Inc. (ACI), a Las Vegas based general contractor, recently completed construction of a 21,000 sq. ft., two-story concrete tilt-up for GSL Electric.
The building will serve as their corporate offices and training center. Project manager, Nelson Cumana noted the project took eight months to complete.

ACI also completed a tenant improvement for Cashback at the corner of Decatur and Craig. Jim Ash was the project manager and Fernando Galeana was the superintendent. Las Vegas based Welles Pugsley Architects, L.L.P. designed the project
