Construction Services Albuquerque's Richardson and Richardson Construction
recently picked up a portion of a $159 million project to build privatized housing
at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque.
Under a contract from lead general
contractor Hunt Construction, Richardson and Richardson will construct: A 2,500-sq.-ft.
housing office; a maintenance and self help facility that is a combination 3,500-sq.-ft.
office and warehouse; three new clubhouses scattered through the project; a pool
and cabana and ancillary structures including bus stops, trash enclosures and
other miscellaneous items.
The project includes 868 new homes and is replacing
all the old military housing on the base.
