ABQ Firm Wins projects in N.M.

Central Consolidated Schools. One will be located in Kirtland, N.M. and the other in Shiprock, NM. Each 21,000-sq.-ft. center will contain an auditorium with seats for 799 people, a stage, a fly loft, an entry lobby, restrooms, a make-up area, a shop and storage rooms. They will also include complete lighting and sound systems. The estimate for both projects is $10 million. Construction started April 1, 2004, and will be completed by May 30, 2005. The architect for both centers is DLR Group, Farmington, N.M.


R & O Starts Work on Dialysis Center

R & O Construction is underway on the new DaVita Dialysis Center in Farmington. The 11,405-sq.-ft. building includes both the medical treatment rooms and office space. R & O will construct the shell of the building and complete the interior finish of the dialysis center, with the $1.5 million project completion scheduled for August. DaVita is the largest independent provider of dialysis services in the U.S.

The project architect is Searer, Robbins & Stephens Inc. of Phoenix.
