Top 100 Design Firms of the Southwest

This year’s ranking is based upon 2008 revenue as voluntarily reported by the 100 largest architects and engineers of Arizona, Nevada and New Mexico.

The top 100 firms reported $1.43 billion in design work for 2008, a 15% drop from the $1.68 billion reported in 2007.

Arizona firms dropped a similar amount, from $975 million in 2007 to $843.9 million in 2008. Nevada dropped to $351.6 million, a level of work not seen since 2003.

New Mexico designers reported $258 million, down from $276 the previous year, a much smaller decrease than the other two states experienced.
