The Mayo Clinic is planning to expand its Phoenix campus with the addition of a $130-million cancer center. The new 217,200-sq-ft, three-floor facility will be added above the Mayo Clinic's Proton Beam Therapy Building, currently under construction. Prologis Inc. has started construction of a 486,200-sq-ft, cross-dock facility for its Prologis Park Riverside industrial park, a speculative 153-acre development in Phoenix. MT Builders has started construction on the $44-million Skysong apartment complex in Tempe. The project is being developed by Higgins Development Partners of Chicago and The Plaza Cos. of Peoria, Ariz. The six-story, 323,000-sq-ft complex will feature 325 residential units. Intel Corp. has started construction of its $300-million Fab CH8 Research and Development Facility in Chandler. The two-story, 285,000-sq-ft concrete structure will be used to expand Intel's packaging operations.
